“Village Bar, Soho is a staple part of the gay scene here.”
The Village has become a firm fixture on Soho's gay scene since opening in 1991. The Village was the first of its kind to be opened in London and since then there have been dozens of bars who have copied its successful formula. The Village really...more

This is a very small, yet bustling bar in soho. I had been here many years ago and didn’t remember a lot of the decor, but since being with my partner we have been here a few times, mostly because it’s easy to find, friendly,...More

Yesterday I also run into the aggressive doorman at the front entrance. Rude, shouting. No sense of guest orientation. He refused me to get back into and blockede also for the other entrance. This is not the way to treat guests. Look for alternatives. I...More

Myself and a friend attempted getting in for a drink Fri night. Apparently it’s guest lists only now. Don’t just turn up you won’t get in. Doormen rude and obnoxious. Plenty of other lovely bars in Soho. Give this one a miss.

Awful door men - straight men stopping gay men entering a gay venue. Management need to sort this out!!!

The Village is a very cheesy bar located in Soho, it's all about bright colours and cheesy pop, although there is a quieter area upstairs. Not a must visit but any means but not a bad place either.

Have been here a few times in the evening and the music is always cheesy and great. Went to watch the football yesterday and all cocktails were half price, and they were great! No dress code and no judgement.

This great little bar in central soho is always very popular. It also stays open beyond 11/12 unlike others round about. Bars are set out in a sort of ‘L’ shape with stairs to downstairs between the 2 bars. Quite narrow so always a flow...More
