Great intimate feeling venue, sound quality was perfect, staff are all, including door staff totally lovely, friendly, professional can’t praise them enough, my daughter had to be pulled out of the crowd (fainted) and I cannot fault any of them, and the huge bearded medic...More
good venue, good staff but I'm taking off a point from my review of your establishment as you did not allow palaye royale to meet fans after the show tonight. Please apologise to the band and the fans for this as many will be disappointed...More
I think the Electric may be ok as a club but as a gig venue it's dire, oversold and ridiculously crammed, massively overpriced and understaffed bars, shoddy staff attitudes, acoustics crap too, one to avoid
If I had discovered that place like 10 years ago I would have probably given it five stars. I am just way too old for this kind of gigs :) Either way, I enjoyed the evening as much as I could given my progressive age....More

Went to Electric Brixton for the first time on Friday night with a group of friends. I am a white guy over 60. I felt comfortable, it is well run and that makes it great for enjoying the music. Look forward to going again.
I went to the Ajunabeats night on the 9th February. The security team were quick and efficient in getting you into the venue. They do ask for ID as stated on the Electric Brixton website no matter how old you are.
The bar staff were...More

Bought tickets to see Kamelot at Koko. Due to unforeseen circumstances the venue was changed to Electric Brixton. On tickets the show was supposed to star at 5. Book days off from work since we were travelling from pretty far. Got to the venue at 4 been in the queue till 5. We got passed security, tickets scaned only to find out the show starts after 8 pm. Asked the security if we can go outside for a couple of hours but they said that no rentry is possible if we leave. So basically we are prisoners for 3 hours in that ....hole. This is absolutely outrageous. The program should have been placed in a visible spot outside so we would have had a choice. I will actually take this further since is not acceptable. Besides we had to pay loads on parking when we could have just arrived at a decent hour for the show. Good communication and respect

hi not knowing your son it probably comes down to how you assess his street smarts. if he leaves Electric and keeps to himself he should be fine. Being a grandfather of 6 teenagers I would be more comfortable if the person going to the venue was with someone sensible. A solo teenager is going to be a target at any public event anywhere in the world these days. Hope he has a great time.
