Booked design service on advise of LA in Amersham. Booked a specific person by name, on recommendation of LA in Amersham. She turned up nearly 2 hours late, consequently the time I had allocated to this ran into family arriving for visit. The design ended up not being anything like I wanted because of rushing through her consultation with a... More

I would have scored zero if this was possible. I purchased a lamp last week in my local store and made a special trip to another store to source a suitable lamp shade. When I arrived home with the shade, it slipped right over the lamp, as there was a piece missing. I contacted Head Office who told me that... More

I bought four cushions just over a year ago. They have split at the seams and have tears in the fabric. When I contacted customer services, they simply said that the law wa that they didn't have to replace anything over a year old, even with a receipt. That may well be true, but I suggest it would be reasonable... More

I visited this store yesterday between 11.30 and 12. I looked at some of the racks then picked up a dress went into changing room , tried it on, checked my shopping list, came out changing room, put it back on the rack. No one made eye contact, no one said hello or anything at all. What a poor atmosphere... More

If I couldhave given a zero score I would have. After parting with £3,500 of hard earnt cash for 2 x Gloucester sofas I was horrified when after 3 months the seat pads looked completely knackered! I called customer service, please don't be fooled by this title as none of their operatives are customer focused & offer no service. We had... More

I've seen a bad review of the farringdon bed from Laura Ashley. I would agree totally. It was terrible. The reviewer said their bed was noisy. yep. also the middle leg was rubbish. It tended to grip to the wooden floor so didn't move with the bed- as a result it was often at an angle and not supporting the... More

I have always perceived Laura Ashley as an brand that represented good quality & excellent customer service. I have been proved wrong on both counts. We recently bought our first home and refurbished the kitchen. Our finishing touch was Laura Ashley wicker floor tiles purchased via Tons of Tiles. Dispite over ordering by a square metre to be on the... More

We bought a duvet cover and pillow cases and after one wash the duvet cover had a big tear on the seams . Customer service would not accept detailed photographic evidence and insisted that they would do nothing until we sent it to them for inspection . Apart from being very inconvenient , they would not pay for the postage... More

Avoid buying expensive substandard wall paper from this company!! Customer service is horrendous, they have refused to rectify the damaged wall paper, shame as over the years we were huge fans won't be returning and advise everyone else to stay away!!

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
