Or fully wheelchair friendly. But the closeness to the Acting, the accoustics and the type of Plays here make it a full experience. Also the locality is very interesting. We saw The Wild Duck - stunning theatre

This is an excellent theatre for viewing, but the legroom could be better & some patrons end up sharing divan seats with others at the corners. However, it has friendly, helpful staff, doesn't charge the earth & has a go. We saw the modern adaptation...More

We recently visited this theatre for the first time. We loved the intimacy of the theatre and the show itself was outstanding. However, we booked tickets for the circle and found ourselves in seats where they were on an angle to each other and consequently...More

Went to see The Writer which is a fascinating, smart post #MeToo piece. Well acted and directed. Ate super meal across the street after.

The Almeida theatre is slightly unusual, in that it is a horseshoe shaped auditorium. This gives you a good view of the stage all round.

I can't recommend this theatre enough, I really think that if you love theatre you should definitely visit this theatre. The "Summer and Smoke" was amazing! Will definitely come back again.

We came yesterday to see "Summer and smoke" which was excellent. Wonderfully intimate theatre and very atmospheric. Theatre staff were friendly and helpful. The only complaint was with one of the bar staff who in-between serving undid her pony tail, rearranged her "bun" and fixed...More
