Charlie Winston Comes Home!

A great night with Charlie Winston (Platinum in France, crazily unheard of in the UK!) playing his first London set in years. With Sam Walker as support act, and Charlie's... read more

In my opinion as an ex London fire fighter I think this place is downright dangerous, if there had been any kind of incident here the chances of getting out safely were pretty much zero unless you were standing right next to a fire exit. I had been to the Borderline several years ago when it was a much larger... More

A great night with Charlie Winston (Platinum in France, crazily unheard of in the UK!) playing his first London set in years. With Sam Walker as support act, and Charlie's drummer, the evening was set for some of the best contemporary folk pop. The Borderline is a good venue to see a band. The "stepping" of the area around the... More

It was a great night of music, with Tor Miller, and The Strumbellas performing to the highest level. The venue is a great size, its nice and allows all guests to be close to the band. The only down side is the temperature, everyone was far too hot. It even became an ongoing joke with the bands.

Really good fun, pretty cheap drinks, especially for central London and great atmosphere. Only complaint is the music was a real cheese fest. With good music this club would be perfect.

Good venue this, the only thing is there is no air conditioning so it's boiling inside on a hot evening, you are close to the stage and the sound is great

After travelling three hours in a taxi at a cost of £200 , I arrived at this venue only to be REFUSED entry because I use a wheelchair. Even though their websites states they ' take the needs of their disabled customers very seriously and actively encourages ALL patrons to attend' . no they don't, not if you can't walk.... More

Our first time at the Borderline where we saw Band of Friends. A very good venue well located and easy to get to, a short walk from Tottenham Court Rd tube station. Will keep our eye on who's playing there in the future.

visited for mick abrahams benefit gig - good location - no frills - reminded me of old marquee club & 100 club - basic decor/bar/toilets - need to be in the centre to get best view but certainly adequate for rock gig - would go back

No one should visit The Borderline for classy surroundings, extensive range of alcoholic beverages and smart toilets! Instead, soak up the slightly scuzzy atmosphere and enjoy the (reasonably priced) range of live music on offer. It's similar in ambience to the 100 Club in Oxford Street. Visited the benefit gig celebrating Mick Abrahams' (Jethro Tull / Blodwyn Pig etc) 50... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
