We saw Chess the musical here and what a wonderful theatre to see it in. The show was amazing and the theatre a classic. We were lucky enough to be in a box and it was a fabulous view.

The Glenn Miller story was the attraction and we had good seats in the stalls. The interior is fabulous and the ceiling special. Acoustics too are great. The seats are old but comfy and there's good leg space. That's useful when people need to get...More

Absolutely beautiful theatre, which is spotless and extremely well maintained. I haven’t been to a nicer theatre in the uk and I’ve been to many of them!

The theatre is impressive. The architecture was very ornate. The seats comfortable, and plenty of toilets! You can tell this theatre is usually used by opera goers. I was here for the Glen Miller Story, and the building was virtually empty , so a lot...More

Excellent 2 hours plus of swing music. Despite his age (81) tommy's enthusiast approach was infectious and added to the entertainment. Considering his age he did incredibly well with both voice and mobility. However like number of other reviews using an 81 year old to...More

I am reviewing the theatre and not the show - The Glenn Miller Story was great music and although Tommy Steele still had his voice it was bad casting an 81 year old as a man who died at 40. Anyway ...back to the theatre....More

Watched the evening show on the 28th July 2018. The theatre is stunning and got good seats on special offer at £39 each with a good view. To be honest would not have paid much more than that as Tommy Steele was amazing but having...More

It's pretty good as the rake on the seats is quite steep.

That’s where we sat - great view and close enough. Try for centrally located seats.
