We were looking for a good old English pub for a pint and some grub. What we stumbled upon was excellent. Good beer, good food and friendly staff. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

Today at lunchtime a few of our foremen, the boss and a client left their site and decided (poorly I might add) to stop at this establishment for some food and a drink. Well weren't they greeted by such a lovely reception of being told to leave as they dont serve "people like that" the boss decided to challenge them... More

You could choose from a Thai menu or choose typical English fish and chips, burger, jacket potato, even chicken nuggets and chips! It certainly should keep all of your... More

good boozer, nice pints and hidden from the tourists of mayfair! authentic when sunny in the daytime you can spill out onto the pavement, in the evening a few barriers get put up, but still lots of external standing space

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
