We decided to travel on the train to see Wimbledon, even though none in our group were tennis enthusiasts. The train is wonderful and the scenery to Wimbledon are fantastic, so it was well worth going to see if you have the time.

Hard to navigate, lots of noise since they have multiple stations playing at the same time, and I am not sure I got a good sense of the history. The best part are the championship trophies at the end. I wouldn't do this again.

I visited the Wimbledon museum, and found it interesting but unspectacular. It was interesting seeing the history of croquet and real tennis before tennis, and the trophies at the end were good. As I was there near championship week I was unable to do a...More

For tennis lovers, the history the surprises! The museum is very well done, take your time going round and do open the draws! Also the main tour is well worth it. Finish with a cupper and slice of cake! What a great day.

Had a great day visiting Wimbledon - tour of the grounds was brilliant and gave great insight into the behind the scenes and planning for each Wimbledon fortnight! We got an audio tour for the museum which really brought the exhibits to life!

The museum is ok but not that intetesting... BUT the guided tour was really cool. Our very friendly guide showed us around, talked a lot about tennis stuff, interacted with us and made jokes and we saw everything worth seeing: the center court, the players...More

We were planning to use a days out guide 2 for 1 voucher for entry into the museum. In this scenario, is it possible to book the tour in advance? Or would our only option be to book the tour the day of (assuming there are timeslots still available). I noticed the website only allows you to book the museum & tour in advance and there is no option for booking only the tour.

The 2 for 1 ticket only entitles you to Museum Entry and it is not necessary to book for that. If you wish to do a tour then you cannot use the 2 for 1 you have to pay the full price and you can book and pay for this... More
