I had been told a lot about this store prior to visiting. A few days ago I made the trip, whilst in Regent street. You have to see this store to appreciate it the decor and age of it. With timber balconies looking down on a central shop floor and other shopping areas leading from it. This is a high... More

My Friend and I were looking forward to a little treat of Tea & Cake at Liberty on Saturday 3rd December 2016. For the cost of £22.00 for 2 cups of tea, 1 cake & 1 scone it was dreadful. It took 20 for a waitress to take our order and then another 20 minutes to actually get the food.... More

The place is amazing. Must seen. Wooden desinged department store. I really love their Christmas shop. Do not miss the front view on the building. And be sure to take a picture from the top floor down at the middle of the shop... Have fun

The building in itself is intriguing from the outside and the inside. A set of several floors, all arranged around two central void spaces (imagine the Globe theatre) from where you can see the ground floor at all times. It is charming, the displayed items are varied and interesting. It's a good place to find some presents ranging from body... More

From the Tudor design to the intimate setting inside the store, you tend to forget that you're shopping instead of visiting a theatrical set. Each floor is privy to smaller sections focusing on particular goods, e.g. ladies' wear, stationary. Impressive. I shopped prior to the heavy Christmas season, but I got a chance to snare a tree ornament in their... More

Amina in the Nike Liberty section has such amazing customer service skills! I went there with my cousin from California as she loves the department store and she made our shopping experience great! She was very friendly and personable :)

I have always loved Liberty - I've been visiting for years and have never been disappointed. I love the eclectic mix of stuff for sale - lots of really unusual pieces that you don't see anywhere else. The building is amazing and I love the mix of old and new. A great place to walk around and enjoy even if... More

The most beautiful department store in London, you can spend hours wandering around it. Wasn't here to shop today, had seen the Cointreau collaboration with Liberty advertised and wanted to take part as it was only here for a few days. The set up is in the shop window, oranges in a Liberty-style, and the idea is you have your... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
