Westminster Bridge is great to see in itself but with Parliament and this Statue at the end then it is definitely worth a much closer look as this is a very precise sculpture of such a historical figure - cast so well and in great...More

This is without doubt one of the finest pieces of bronze sculpture ever made. Show Queen Boadicea of the Iceni and her 2 daughters. The queen is majestic standing on the chariot with her partially clothed daughters a hint to the brutal treatment meted out...More

A bronze sculptural group placed at one end of Westminster Bridge.Nice but not quite a "must see".You can stop for 5 minutes, take 1-2 photos and that's all, there are scores of statues like this. And anyway,it's not easy to stop there as long as is a very...More

Another statue to see as there are so many in London, good location with Big Ben. For what she represents makes you stop and think. Worth checking out.

On the Parliament side of Westminster Bridge this impressive statue of the British queen who led a rebellion by the Iceni tribe against rule by the Roman Empire 2000 years ago. At a busy pedestrian intersection though so not a lot of opportunity to appreciate.

Although the reins of national power lie within Whitehall, there is a firm Parliamentary connection with 'The Albert', a licensed establishment which is located on the jcn. of Buckingham Gate and Victoria Street. Cabinet Ministers and Parliamentarians of note can be recalled - when House...More

A monument I didn't know held any significant precedent, the statue is found right next to London Bridge and Big Ben. Largely unable to appreciate the statue as the waves of pedestrians crossing the road and moving towards the Bridge were heavy, so if you...More
