A really nice way to spend a couple of hours is walking from Little Venice to Regent’s Park along the canal. It’s very peaceful and scenic with large houses and the water.

I did my homework on the canal and all of what I read led me to believe this is a continuous trail, well signed: it is neither. My wife and I rented bikes and went from the section close to Kings Cross to Edgware Rd...More

Getting away from all the traffic and the London noise tor a while in a slow moving environment- the canal offers access to another route around London and is increasingly used by families. Watch out for fast moving bicycles on the towpath.

We started our walk at Limehouse and walked up to the Angel station, very quiet walk unfortunately not much to keep the kids occupied. I would probably start at Angel to walk to Camden next time.

If you like walking and could walk fast too, this route could be used as shortcuts to many places as well as a lot people use here to do their leisure activities.

This question has got me beaten! Malcesine is on Lake Garda and a very nice town too. However no hotel is mentioned and why is it posted on the Regents Canal page?
