A little expensive at 32 pounds each for a 24 hour ticket, but does include a boat tour on the Thames and some walking tours. A good way to get all around London and see the major sights with entertaining narration. We took their 3 PM tour and although our tour guide assured us that we had plenty of time... More

A good way to see London and not tire your feet and learn lots of things along the way. You can easily hop on and off to spend extra time in places. All the staff are friendly and informative.

The Original Sightseeing Tour was booked in advance. There are so many choices of tours, and we found that this one was the best. The booking on the net was easy. There are different bus circles - we took the Yellow, which is the longest going from Trafalgar Square around The Westminster area and Buckingham Palace and to Tower Bridge... More

We visited London for a day trip and thought a hop-on, hop-off would be great idea. I research the routes and stops and purchased tickets on line, so arrived well prepared. But, the day didn't start well as we spent 20 minutes looking for the bus stop near to Euston Station! Giving up, we walked to a further stop outside... More

I was entertaining French friends who do not speak any English, and we came up by train from the south west of England, arriving at Waterloo around midday. We managed to do the whole circuit and also walk around in places, in just over six hours. You can hop straight on a bus from Waterloo, with a wide choice of... More

We purchased these tickets at the airport and found that we'd gotten a real treat. The Hop-On Hop off was a good feature and made it easy to tour London at our leisure. The real treat for us was the Thames River cruise tickets that came along with the bus tour. We got to hear three different bus tour guides... More

A well spent few hours seeing the different hot spots in the city from a perspective that can't be seen from a car. Between the different routes and a cruise on the Thames, this is a great way to see the buildings and areas that make London so fascinating. We had a very entertaining and informed guide who knew the... More

I booked two days tickets for the weekend in May but ended up using the bus for less then hour total. Bus stops are purely marked and map is overly simplistic which makes it impossible to find stops if you don't know the city (which would be everybody taking this tour). Twice the bus simply drove by without stopping. Busses... More

This is a great way to get a feel for the city you are visiting as it covers a large area - the yellow line covers from the Tower of London to Victoria and everything in between. Unfortunately due to road works, our tour took so much longer than anticipated but our live guide was so knowledgeable that he was... More

Get it all done in one day! Awesome tour of all the attractions with complimentary Thames river cruise. Big bag for your buck! Tours do stop around 6 or so so make sure you get to your original destination in time.

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
