Amazing story teller who got my 3 year old enthralled. The additional £1.50 per person for the story telling session was super worth it. Reading room opens into a different room with characters from the books filling the room. My girl was so excited. Other...More

We have celebrated our kid's birthday at Discover. 10 children (2.5-3.5 y.o.) with parents - very nicely decorated party room with a table and snacks/drinks available for kids. Music, balloons for every child and set of pillows which appeared to be a great fun for...More

Visited on a soggy Saturday afternoon and my grandson had a wonderful time playing and making and reading as did my newly turned 13yr old! The story reading was lovely and we still do the actions every time we read the book :)

As a recently retired primary school teacher, I have seen a sharp and worrying decline in children's imagination. This (not lack of involved grammatical knowledge) is the biggest obstacle to children becoming writers. I recently visited the Discover Children’s Story Centre with my granddaughters (aged...More

We visited here for the “Grufallo experience”. Our son really enjoyed the story telling, and exploring all of the soft play afterwards. We felt it was good value for money.

Visited during summer holidays and very disappointed. My fault initially, didn't thoroughly read the whole website so thought the £22 family ticket covered the activities and exhibition. It doesn't, the cost of the ticket is just entry to the building, everything else needs to be...More

We visited on Saturday afternoon, with our 4 children (9, 8, 6 and 2). The place was easy to find, about a 5 minute walk from the station. On arrival the receptionist wasn't very welcoming or attentive, so much so she put a wristband on...More
