Neighbourhood: Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.

Had a fantastic evening we were booked in for the early set. Had to queue outside til the doors opened. We were taken straight to our table. The venue looked amazing inside. When booking the tickets we had a choice of sitting on the side seats or a table. After attending we found the table a better choice as there was five of us. We had more room. We were given a free cocktail as the entertainment had changed from when we had booked. It didn't matter because Ashley Henry was amazing as were the guys who supported him. The ambience in the club is fantastic. The service from Matthew our server for the evening was great. We would recommend, but book well in advance if there's someone in particular you want to see. A fantastic night.

I just wanted to come back to you and say thank you for the arrangements you made for my fiancée Lisa and I last night at Ronnie Scott's.

This was her first visit to your world renowned venue and the service and atmosphere were impeccable from start to finish.

I have to give kudos to the smiley security on the front door who acknowledged us and asked us for to come the front of the queue once the doors opened for the 2nd show to avoid standing. My partner and I both have mobility issues and every consideration helps.

We popped around the corner for a quick coffee and when we came back around we were shown straight in as the first guests to take our corner seat with a perfect view of Judith hill and her family/band.

Thanks also go to the bookings officer on the entry, Barbara who served us perfectly at the table, the bubbly lady security inside,    and of course the chefs behind that delish duck salad and Fish Pie that we devoured hastily in preparation for the event.

Having previously worked in catering, hospitality and security at venues such as the House of Commons and the Ministry of Sound I relish in great customer service as provided by your staff.

Lastly just to add, that the sound quality was exquisite. We felt uplifted, soothed and tantalised by the audio ambience.

And, phew... lastly we appreciate that we didn't feel rushed after the show as we got to catch up with Jill, Pee-wee and Michiko Hill and drummer John to chat, swap info and spread love.

Thank you,  bless you and your team. We'll be back as soon as possible.

kindest regards

Awful experience - staff asked us to be totally silent … they are running this place like a theatre !! Doors opened really late, food service was very rushed, food was poor ! The artist wouldn’t stop plugging his CD ! Not a jazz club at all … they have totally drained the place of any atmosphere. They might have the badge, but this resembles no jazz club.

My visit to Ronnie Scotts was years in the making and I was not disappointed. The man working the door and another guest quickly came to my aid when they saw I was using a cane, and I was immediately taken inside and given a seat in the lobby. When seated at a table for two, I was told I might have to share it and, sure enough, a young man was seated with me. Fortunately, he did not order food - the small table would not have accommodated two meals. My chicken dinner was excellent and the performance was fun, with much interaction with the audience. The only downside was the fact there were at least ten empty tables very close to ours, so it really wasn't necessary to share. He was very pleasant and we had nice conversation, but my legs were cramped the whole time.

This is quite a nice establishment. I have a disability and when the bouncer noticed he let me inside to sit. I deeply appreciated this.

Steps don't have a handrail, but I think that's mostly a norm in London. Once inside the place was quite large for a jazz club.

The food was excellent. (I had the lamb chops and they were cooked perfectly.)

As was the service. I'll definitely be coming back again when I'm in the area.

A really great experience. We went to the early performance of Joe Stilgoe and his group. Awesome performer. What an incredible pianist. And we got there for dinner. Really delicious meals - we had the lamb and the steak. There really is not a bad seat there but if you are eating, then you are right up front.

I was charged for some tickets and once inside I was kicked out 20 minutes after sitting down because the show has ended and I wasn’t told about this when I bought the tickets
