Visited after many years and enjoyed the Sunday roast. The beef and the nut roast were very good but the pork was a bit disappointing. Great selection of beers and great service. Fabulous ambiance. Great to come back but surprised at the prices !!

If you are anywhere near Hampstead Heath or Kenwood, then do pay a visit to this historic pub, dating back to 1585, which is now a Grade II listed building. Dick Turpin was apparently born here and it was frequented by highwaymen when in those...More

First visit to the Spaniards for years despite living close by. Booked table for four for Saturday dinner. Good table and decently quick service despite being warned that the kitchen was running slow. Excellent burger.

Arrived at 11.50am for a 12pm lunch reservation, pouring rain outside, but staff refused to allow me in until 12pm in the dot. Not even apologetic about it. At 12 they unlock the door, without actually opening it for you, as if you disgust them....More

Had a lovely roast. As a veggie it's often a bit disappointing but the nut roast was really tasty and the veg was varied and fresh. Puddings are also well worth it, lemon tart was a perfect palate cleanser! The only first world problem was...More

I've been going to the Spaniards for some years but on the last two occasions have been really disappointed. I wonder if the chef has changed? It's always been rather over priced but at least we left feeling what we'd eaten was delicious. This time...More
