We were not expecting to be in Chiswick, but we ended up staying there after our accommodation went pear-shaped. It is a nice little place hidden away in West London, with lots of nice shops and cafes and good communication via the tube.

Spent a very enjoyable day exploring the shops and township. Recommend checking out their numerous 2nd hand stores if you're so inclined. Some true bargains to be had.

This is one of my favourite areas of West London. It's got a great feel to it. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants (some independent). I sometimes prefer going to chiswick than travelling into central London.
