This show is amazing! The production itself, all the actors etc will blow your mind! This was my 30th birthday present from my mum and we really enjoyed it.... it brought back childhood memories! The show is a little different to the original but that...More

We went to see Matilda last week and I am still singing the songs! Everything about this musical is perfect. The music is catchy and lyrics are clever; the cast, especially the children, are very talented; the set is ingenious and the original story is...More

Took my 8yo as an end of term treat. We both thoroughly enjoyed the show. The young performers were excellent but loved the actor who played Mrs trunchball she was wonderfully evil! We had good seats, row B in the stalls right next to the...More

I went with a friend who's seen it more than 10 times in 3 different cities. He was enthralled for the entire show. I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy it as I never read Roald Dahl, but I did. The actor that...More

Loved this show so much I have been twice. A must-see with kids. I would say age 7+ as the storyline is a bit complex especially relating to Miss Honey's childhood.

Great show. The sets were wonderful and the cast were superb. We took our 6 year old daughter, she absolutely loved it and so did we. Highly recommend it.

Right from the moment you enter the theatre you know this is going to be good. The set is a jumble of blocks, and words such as "escape" and "acrobats" and "scarf" can be discerned in the colourful melee. We were already familiar with Tim...More

I think 5 is a little young for the show. Some of the content is quite dark and confusing for a 5 year old. I would say 7 years and over would be ok.

Hi You could try ShowandStay for packages. Alternatively one of the Premier Inn's for the room, or the Strand Palace hotel is not too far and a good price. Hope you enjoy the show as much as we did.
