The RSC and Tim Minchin combination has done justice to Dahl’s wonderful story. This production deserves the long run it is enjoying but remains fresh, energetic and hugely enjoyable for parents, children and grandparents too!

A musical well performed by mainly children. A good interpretation of the classic Rhal Dahl book. Young children will love the performance!

My husband and I went to see Matilda for my birthday. It was a nice few hours and the actors were undoubtedly amazing. However, many of the major scenes from the book/film were missing, so that was a shame.
