This is such a good musical. The staging set and music are incredible, but what Lee me away are the performers, particularly the children who were out of this world

Firstly we really enjoyed the show- how can you not? So why the 3 stars? I am not a huge theatre go-er seen perhaps 10-15 musicals. But this sits firmly in the middle. I cannot really say why. The kids were good, Matilda in particular was faultless. Support was good with Trunch being excellent. Matildas parents were nicely realised Stage... More

The story is very well interpreted. All the children performing are great: vwith nice, accurate voices and great dancing skills. I really enjoyed the performance and recommend the musical. But do book in advance. You can get good deals when booking online a few months in advance. Try to go during the week days, cause weekends and usually busiest and... More

Great show , theatre set very good , parents of Matilda particularly good , lots of dancing with some really incredible choreography and use of props , well worth a visit particularly if taking children . The theatre itself was well organised but as usual with this age of building not enough toilet facilities therefore queues for the ladies were... More

The show is funny and entertaining, and the performances from the children are all extremely good. Although it's not cheap to go and see, it's well worth it. I would strongly recommend this to anyone who enjoys musical theatre. The only negative thing I can say about it is that the theatre is too hot. Other than that I can't... More

I had 29 year 5 children in London for two days and the highlight was the trip to Matilda. We saw the Thursday night performance and from the staff who welcomed us to the exit everything was amazing. The kids all watched in awe and could not wait for the next song. They walked round London the next day singing... More
