Took my daughter to see Macbeth (she's studying it for GCSE) at this small theatre in South London. Was a little sceptical when I booked it. A theatre attached to a pub??!! But was the only production of Macbeth I could find in whole of London. I should not have worried. While it is far removed from a large West... More

Seen several plays at the Jack now. Always highly entertaining and creative. Very small but they always make good use of the stage and wherever you sit you're really close to the action. Brilliant way to catch a quality show without paying West end prices.

I live about ten minutes walk from this theatre, and have had the pleasure of attending about a dozen plays over the past few years. From Shakespeare to freshly written work from local talent, I have enjoyed every show -- even the really weird ones. Tickets are very affordable, the seats are a good size, and the venue cannot hold... More

The Brockley Jack has become a favourite. Diverse theatre, professionally staged. The thrill is being up close and the atmosphere that goes with being local.

We love this theatre and are lucky enough to live in walking distance so have been a few times. Three is a pub next door and you can take drinks into the theatre. It is a very small space and you can sit down the side of the stage and be 'in the action' The productions we have seen have... More

This is a fantastic local theatre with good production of small theatre groups. Informal and friendly with warm welcome on ticket door. Have a bite to eat or a drink in the pub before you go into the theatre. All is open and friendly as you would expect your local pub to be. Super, Keep it up.

Me and my wife have seen all plays in this theatre since we moved in to Honor Oak. The theatre seating is really good for such a small place, the staff is friendly and the pub drinks are varied and cheap. I recommend visiting for a great of culture and some drinks.

Every time I go to this theatre, I wonder why I haven't been for a while. We just love this theatre. It is easy to travel to and if you drive there is on-street parking close by. Alongside the theatre there is the Brockley Jack Pub, we didn't dine in there this time, but the food is good and you... More

The Jack Studio has really enterprising shows, some staged itself, others by visiting companies and is a genuine local attraction in its part of London - Honor Oak. Small, but comfortable - very comfortable by fringe standards - the adjacent pub is spacious and does edible food but make sure you arrive in time to order - shows usually start... More

It was just-ok- After seeing some plays at the National Theater, and then the Globe, and the Old Vick- perhaps did not help the expectation for this theater- and I must say that the whole thing was like being at a high school play. The theater is small- and the ambiance could be really great- but the acting was just... More
