This place is a hidden gem, eventho it's very close to Camden Town tube station. The drinks are cheap and there is almost always a table available, even on weekends. Great atmosphere. The toilets are utterly disgusting tho.

Another victim of London's continued gentrification and attempted abolition of its LGBT scene. A wonderful place full of life. This place will be sorely missed.

Totally gutted this place is shut down. This was one of the best places to go if you didn't want to go to soho. Hopefully someone will buy it and re open it soon.

I have been to the black cap a few times now and have had a great time on each occasion. Had a fantastic time seeing Sharon of Rupaul's Drag Race here, and all the staff are gorgeous and friendly!

With the Soho scene disintegrating and Vauxhall being 'regenerated', it makes for a nice change to head north to the black cap. There's something happening up there, with all the drag and cabaret they put on, it's seen the place turn around and now there's...More
