BBC only uses a couple of revamped studios here nowadays, which are difficult to visit.

As a former BBC employee, I wanted to revisit TVC before it was sold-off and remodelled into housing and hotels etc. Took the tour - one of the final ones - with a friend, just so I could say au revoir to an old friend (TVC!) It was very good. Very sad to see the place looking so shabby when... More

At the moment, Television Centre is being redeveloped as housing and offices. When the first phase is completed, three remaining studios will be leased back to the BBC. What a previous reviewer called "Car Park Roof Experience" is actually called Pergola on the Roof. It is located on top of the car park and runs from May 26th until August... More

The tour at this vast complex used to be very good - I did it more than once - but it no longer functions as the BBC's television headquarters and most recent reviewers are confusing it with BBC Broadcasting House at Langham Place, which has its own review site.

I arranged a tour for 10 of our friends, one in a wheelchair for an 11 0,clock tour. All our bags were security checked, we registered, were issued with passes and the tour started on time. The 2 young men who took us on the tour were great, very informative and amusing, all of the staff we met were polite... More

The 'dream factory' has just re-opened after refurbishment as the new home of BBC Worldwide. The old BBC Newsroom is now a staff restaurant and has an elliptical staircase leading up to offices above.

I was given a Tour of the BBC as a birthday present. What a great couple of hours. Although slightly chaotic because the space is so restricted, getting behind the scenes was absolutely fascinating. Our tour guides, Ben and Maddie were a delight, they were extremely intllegent and knowledgable and their love of the BBC was evident. We were made... More
