I hadn't previously been to The Troxy before, but several friends and colleagues told me before I went what a great venue it was. They weren't lying, the art deco design outside and in is beautiful and it makes it a unique place to go...More

An Art Deco venue that could be stunning but was made tacky. Poor experience and expensive drinks. Not going back

Went to see Fever Ray here - as I am in Essex, this is excellent location for me so extra points for that. Luckily after one visit a few years ago I know about their strict searching/chewing gum policy so i was prepared. You can't...More

I went to see Belle & Sebastian with family and friends. The Troxy is a wonderful venue to see bands in my opinion. We had standing downstairs and there was loads of room at the rear to stand in comfort with no hassle. A great...More

The soft drinks were flat and tasteless, the rows of seating were extremely cramped, and the security staff were virtually shoving people out of the doors as soon as the concert finished, apparently to make way for some kind of “VIP wristband” event. Gave the...More

A massive venue, very spacious but seats are a little tight if you’re a big fella. Good views of the main stage area, however, views are easily obstructed if some over zealous guy/gal cannot maintain their emotions and decides to express their feelings whilst standing....More

The venue is. It located in the best part of London for an awards event. It feels rather uncomfortable walking to the venue in a dinner suit so suggest you take a taxi. The venue was not quite ready when we arrived and we were...More

Attended a gig here, Amadou and Mariam. Love the Art Deco style of the place, and getting here from central London dead easy. Sat in the circle behind the booths. The sound quality was very poor, clearly the place wasn’t built for music performances.

Who would have thought! In its location I was not expecting the stunning venue. The decor is wonderful and laid out for a nice sociable evening watching the show. The bar service was slow during break and before the show but fine during the performance....More

I didn’t try any of the local restaurants. I had a couple of pints in The Old Ship in Barnes Street, which I would recommend. A couple of nice pints in the sun.
