A massive venue, very spacious but seats are a little tight if you’re a big fella. Good views of the main stage area, however, views are easily obstructed if some over zealous guy/gal cannot maintain their emotions and decides to express their feelings whilst standing....More

The venue is. It located in the best part of London for an awards event. It feels rather uncomfortable walking to the venue in a dinner suit so suggest you take a taxi. The venue was not quite ready when we arrived and we were...More

Attended a gig here, Amadou and Mariam. Love the Art Deco style of the place, and getting here from central London dead easy. Sat in the circle behind the booths. The sound quality was very poor, clearly the place wasn’t built for music performances.

The venue was recently restored, and is a superb Art Deco design theatre. We went because of the Wurlitzer organ, also lovingly restored after its former stay in the Trocadero Theatre on the South Bank, as well as a college in a nearby area. The...More

OK we're getting old but the booth tables are a revelation - easy access to bars, make sure you book closer to the centre as I imagine once you're closer to the edge someone might be looking backwards

I didn’t try any of the local restaurants. I had a couple of pints in The Old Ship in Barnes Street, which I would recommend. A couple of nice pints in the sun.
