A pop-up mall based in the heart of East London.

Opened in 2011, BOXPARK is constructed using stripped, and refitted shipping containers, creating 40 exciting pop-up spaces.

Filled with a mix of fashion and lifestyle brands, galleries, cafes and restaurants - BOXPARK places local and global brands side-by-side, creating a unique shopping and dining destination.

BOXPARK is not some run-of-the-mall shopping centre. It's a living, fertile community of brands packed with talent, innovation and attitude that puts creativity and fashion back where they belong: on the street.

Original, creative shops

Small original, creative container shops in the North of London. Downstairs you could shop, upstairs you could find nice food & drinks.

What an original place. Here you find small shops and restaurants in old containers. You have a big variety of food and clothing.

Heard about Cookdaily & Home restaurants in Boxpark from far away Orlando, FL as I followed them on Instagram. Their food posts always had me drooling! Finally was able to try them when I visited London & they did not disappoint. Had their CHICKN & MUSHROOM PIE: VEGAN CHICKN & MUSHROOM FILLING WITH POTATO, CHICKPEAS, MIXED VEGGIES AND CREAM OF TRUFFLE... More

The shops here are pretty interesting, changing every few months. Brokedown Palace on the end is especially good. However where this place really shines is in terms of eating and drinking options. Again, they change every so often but have been uniformly great when I've visited. Korrito, Porky's and Sutton & Son's have been especially good but not sure if... More

Visited boxpark and what a place???!!! Cool shops and so many food choices upstairs we spent more time arguing about what to eat than actually eating the Greek food we all decided on. Can't recommend the Greek highly enough, not too expensive either, which isn't something you can say often in London.

Shops are very overpriced, with a small range of products in each. Go here to grab a bite to eat for lunch. It's got good atmosphere, with seating indoors and out. You can get food to take away too. I have been to 'cookdaily' and a falafel place, both offering delicious vegan food, full of flavour. It's a bit pricey,... More

Read about this place in one of the free magazines so we set out on our travelcard to find it....eaay to find. It's a shopping / eating venue made out of containers. Small independent shops and food retailers. It was a wet miserable day so perhaps we didn't see it at its best.... It didn't completely match up to the... More

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighbourhood Profile
Spitalfields
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
