Great mixture of cultures all mixed together, Cockney, Indian, African and many others all getting along together. It can feel a bit edgy in places, but this is real London. A great range of shops and eateries reflecting all of the different cultures, plenty of...More

I came to BG to visit the Museum of Childhood but ended up having a good walk around the area which is more developed and cosmopolitan than I expected. There are lots of one off independent businesses especially along Old Ford Road.

Bethnal Green is fast transforming from a no-go neighborhood into a hip area. There is an influx of boutique hotels, art galleries and swanky lounges here. You can find flower markets, street food, clothes stalls next to trendy restaurants, pubs and boutiques.
