Best atmosphere in South London

If you like passion, pride and the occasional bit of quality football this is the place to be at 3pm on Saturday home games and maybe the odd Monday night 8pm kick off.

Most Palace fans will say that their football ground wonderful old fashioned! Unfortunately those who has experience at away end will differ. Selhurst Park is old outdated stadium. It is a disgrace to be watching Premier League football in such a stadium. Away end facilities are very poor. The view from the top row is very poor and restricted as... More

I've been coming here for more than 60 years, so you might say I'm biased, but to my mind this is what a football ground should be like.....it's got soul, unlike so many of the modern identikit grounds of today. Sure some of the facilities need to be updated, but if it's a real, traditional experience you want, with honest,... More

We went here expecting it to be a little like a football stadium, and not a view of two huge pillars. The bars were dirty. Football was good. But yes my garden shed was bigger than that.

Football is football, you can't expect and win all the time, however the problem CPFC's management don't understand is the pre match experience. The Glaziers lounge is poorly organised, warm bottled beer, not sufficient seating, uncollected glasses and left over food. The reason the bar is full is that there is no alternative, not a sustainable business model. And I'm... More

A traditional old football ground which treats the away fans with disrespect. The view for some away fans in the upper sections of the stands is akin to looking through a letter box - awful!! The entry area is also bereft of any cover so that you get soaked whist using the toilets or visiting the food section when it... More

The day at the match was a good day for Sunderland supporters. The staff and stewards were on good form in being friendly and helpful to all attending the game which hasnt always been the case. The view for away supporters is obstructed by pillars and a overhanging gantry. As is at sports events the food was overpriced but better... More

Old fashioned ground, facilities poor for away supporters. When you get through turnstiles very cramped, toilets poor especially for females, no roof where stand before game and half time. Crammed in like sheep. Must be terrible when it is cold and wet, luckily it was dry the day we were there. Reminds me of what grounds were like in the... More

Don't expect anything fancy, this is a no frills stadium, take the seats out and you'd swear it was 1978. That said the fans were ok and the coach parked right outside the away fan entrance. Overall a good day out
