This is a pocket of London that I'm not familiar with, my sister took me here on the way to pergola on the roof. Because I was taken aback we decided to take a walk and then had a drink on one of the canal...More

If you are in Paddington and have time the new Waterside development is definitely worth a look. The 150 year old canal is combined with modern offices, apartments and restaurants. You can walk as far as Edgware Road in the East and then along to...More

A lovely little café set within a boat with both inside and outside seating along the river. A variety of hot and cold drinks and snacks, sandwiches and cakes available including some gluten and dairy free. A short walk away from Paddington station.

Such a contrast to exit from the bustle of Paddington Station and find yourself on the bank of a canal basin, with moored narrowboats and barges. Bankside walks, frequent bridges, lots of waterside restaurants and bars.

Paddington under went a huge regeneration in the last decades and if further has huge projects that will transform it massively. The Paddington waterside has been done beautifully too, although people living in the barges do not contribute towards it's cleaning, no wonder the water...More
