Not often I am moved to write reviews, but this is an epic show that deserves as many verbal accolades heaping upon it as is humanly possible. However, I lack the vocabulary grand enough to do it suitable justice, therefore I will say only this...go and see it, I'll wager my Shed you won't be sorry...!

I work in Covent Garden surrounded by theatres and whenever people ask for a recommendation I say war horse. Best. Play. Ever. The horses are wooden and moved by actors. After 5 minutes you no longer see the actors, and it's literally like there's horses running on the stage. Incredible. But definitely bring your tissues- reduced my entire row to... More

I was a bit unsure about this show when my son bought me tickets for my birthday. Went along and took me a bit of time to get used to the horse being animated/managed by a young man. However, I got so drawn into the whole story, that at one point during the performance, one of the staff asked a... More

The thing that I was extremely impressed with was the puppetry. You could tell that the horses were puppets, but their movements were so realistic and life like, it was mind blowing. Good facilities, interesting play, I would recommend this!!

Great show with a sad story to it which is like an emotional roller coaster and keeps you drawn in. The guys who were doing the puppeting for the horse were absolutely brilliant throughout. Highly recommend!

I have seen War Horse a total of three times and have somewhat loved it each time however the first time I saw it, I was quite immature and I was left both bored and scarred by the story line. The puppets are amazing and so is the sound affects that go along with it, however if you have already... More

The puppets created for the horses is incredible. They have studies the behaviour and communication of horses to make the puppets as realistic as possible. A simplistic set that is carried by amazing puppets and fantastic acting. A definite 😢 jerker.

Warhorse is not my favourite westend show but it certainly is amazing! Unbelievable how they have made this very emotional. Seeing it once is enough for me unlike other shows. You can't fault the guys in it.
