Wardour street stands for the history of cinema and the sleazier side of london. However it is now less that and more food now.

This is a great street for restaurants of a quirky and multicultural nature and ones that you may not find elsewhere but it is always but it is always busy especially mid evening with queues forming outside the restaurants so you may have to wait...More

As a thoroughfare it is a bit depressing at night, seems down at heel and a scruffy compared to the splendours of Regent and Oxford streets. Plenty of sex shops andI suspect brothels if that is what you are after.
