We went here in may and it was perfect. The rhododendrons in full bloom. Nice place, the library being my favourite room. You may also see a Rembrandt here, among all the other nice art. I prefer this kind of places to the big museums....More

You can picnic in the grounds but there is also a cafe there called the Brew House which is very passable. You can take a bus from muswell hill easily and the 210 bus stops pretty much outside the house. You can take the... More
