Opened in 1871, the Royal Albert Hall is the world’s most famous stage. It is also one of London’s most iconic and visited tourist attractions. Over the years, it has been the scene of over 150,000 performances; from Wagner to Sinatra, The Beatles to Beyonce, Muhammad Ali to Adele, and is home to the celebrated BBC Proms. Whilst the venue is most famous for its shows by night, by day this treasured building is open for coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and guided tours of the building. Tip for tour ticket holders: Enjoy a 10% discount on items in the Hall’s gift shop and Cafe Bar.

As much as I love a trip to this beautiful building, to gaze at the wonderful auditorium and enjoy the atmosphere of a packed out concert I’d rather hear live orchestras played at either the Barbican or the Festival Hall. The acoustics from day one...More

paid a high price for tickets here, the pre show drinks very expensive and only average quality. The show was great though and acoustics excellent

My partner and I visited to watch the Jools Holland 25th anniversary show. We got cheap tickets last minute so we were up in the gallery. It was a wonderful view given that the show used the whole floor, but would perhaps give a poor...More

Wow!! That is the best way I can describe the Royal Albert Hall! I was there for a concert and the first thing that blew me away was the size and scale of the place. It was truly bigger than what I expected. Everything about...More

Very intetresting tour. History of Hall brought alive by very enthusiasic, amusing and knowledgeable guide, Millie. Learnt so much about, not only historical aspects, but current workings of RAH. Well worth further visit.

My friends and I decided to spend the money and see our favorite band at RAH. At 10 times the price it would still be a bargain. Best show ever at the best venue ever! So happy we did this.

Have visited a number of times to see the cirque du soleil. A stunning old building with loads of character. Very easy to find your way around. Even the cheap seats give a good view

We saw Il Volo here. Great seats - not a bad seat in the house. Easy ticketing process. We were able to walk to the venue and caught a cabbie ride outside when we left.

We stopped by the Hall on way through Hyde Park. It is located across street from huge statue of Albert. The building is currently under renovation by scaffolding on North side. It would be great to go back to a show there but we were...More

I attended a rock concert accompanied by a full orchestra at RAH, and the experience was phenomenal. I had standing tickets and the view and sound from the front "row" was amazing. I was also very impressed with the staff. Each person I encountered from...More

South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming

Go to their website and find the "view from your seat" section. I tried to share the link here, but Trip Advisor doesn't allow it.
