After trying most other markets on a Sunday, we walked here from the City Road Montcalm hotel. It was very bust by the time we arrived but the colours were great. My other half thought the prices were reasonable as well. Around the edges of the market are other shops and cfes also worth looking at. Wawa furnishings was really... More

What a wonderful morning I enjoyed with my daughter. We arrived in Shoreditch by tube then walked to Columbia Rd Flower Market. All outdoor stalls lined up, each selling different flowers and plants. The stall owners are jovial and shout out their best prices to attract attention. The area was bustling. We could only walk slowly between stalls because of... More

I live nearby so head up to the market at least twice a month. It's only on Sundays and if the weather is good it's a really nice place to go but be prepared for crowds. The main market can take a while to walk through due to the number of people, if you're in a rush then nip up... More

Hundreds of people jostling for walking space during peak times. It's shuffle time! Plus it is a great sight seeing streams of people with flowers along the way and on the buses. What's great about the street? The array of great flowers and usually at great bargain prices. If you know what you want, go early as it starts getting... More

I visited the flower market on Sunday 5th March 2017 around 12 pm. It was very crowded but smelled fantastic. There were a huge number of flower and plant stalls, all with gorgeous flowers. There is so much to choose from!

The market is open on every Sunday from 8 am to 2 pm. A wide range of plants, bedding plants, shrubs, bulbs and freshly cut flowers are available here. The price is very competitive. The market also has shops selling bread and cheeses, antiques, garden accessories, unusual international edibles, soap, candlesticks and Buddhist artefacts. The market is popular with with... More

Whether you're a local or a visitor to London, this flower market is an absolute must-see. Get there early - around 9am to avoid the crowds as come midday the place is packed out and very slow to move through. The flower selections are utterly beautiful, from flowers for vases to small fruit trees for the garden, succulents and more!... More

My girlfriend is a florist and asked if I would take her as she was so excited to hear about the market upon hearing about it from friends. Whilst very busy on a Sunday, the charisma from the local vendors and vibrancy of the street scene make a visit an excellent experience. There is plenty to do and see with... More
