Abbey Road - The Beatles

The Zebra Crossing. The famous picture of the band walking across the road. Be careful as it is a busy road now.

If you love The Beatles, you have to come. The fact that the Beatles walked on this road and had it featured on the cover of Abbey Road, I don't know, it's something special. It's not that close to downtown, I walked it, so it took me a while. There are tons of tourists there, that's the only bad thing,... More

It was quite funny watching people trying to cross while trying not to be run over .. The cars don't stop on the crossing for people to cross they just pap the horn to say don't you dare cross 😂😂 I did cross it I was there so it had to be done but I'm shocked no one gets hurt... More

We debated about taking time out of short trip to London to stop at Abbey Road, but were we glad we did! We had a blast crossing the street in Beatles style. We also stopped at the Abbey Road Studios gift shop. Very cool stuff for Beatles fan.

I understand the draw for certain Beatles fans, I suppose; but the Zebra crossing (which is what the tourists come for) is a little kitschy and for being a little far out, seems like a lot of time and effort commitment. If you do go, build in the time to also enjoy the verdant neighbourhood of Saint John's which is... More

For me, this place was not to be missed- this short brief stop was an essential part of my whirlwind visit to London. Upon organizing my trip to London, I planned on this street being my first stop, and what a great short visit it was. Why does this place attract us so much and mean so much to us?... More

First, why drivers choose this road to drive on, I'm not sure because people are constantly trying to have mini photoshoots. Be prepared to wait your turn if you want a staged shot.

Needless to say, the photo of the Beatles album "ABBEY ROAD" was taken there. Even if you aren't a big fan of the Beatles, you must have heard the name of the street. We headed to the crosswalk in accordance with a guide book we had. But it'd posted a wrong location, so we took pictures at another crosswalk of... More

Yes it's just a road/pedestrian crossing, but it's the history attached to it that makes it so special. It is a busy street so re-enacting the famous photo is not easy to do as you need patience. The nearby gift shop is also worth a visit to pick up a souvenir.
