I can't "remember the time" ;-) that I was not a Michael Jackson fan, as he shaped my childhood, teens and as an adult I still love his music. I was looking forward to seeing an exhibition that acknowledges what may be overlooked, which is...More

National Portrait Gallery is definitely an interesting place to visit while in London. However, I feel like it's more relevant for British visitors as the paintings are selected to represent important historical figures from British history, not necessarily to showcase the best portraitists from the...More

This is quite a large exhibition including a variety of artists on their take of Michael Jackson. There will be something there for everyone. There were some artistic pieces which I didn't understand or get at all which will be to the taste of others....More

We visited the portrait gallery on a recent Saturday afternoon. Though there were lots of people entering the gallery, it didn't feel overly crowded once we were inside. The museum is free to enter, but they do have a special Michael Jackson exhibit that costs...More

If you are interested in art and or English history this place is worth a visit. Our teenagers lasted a couple of hours but my husband and I could have spent the entire day. Covers Tudors, Stuarts, Victorian times, modern day. A highlight for me.

I especially went to view the Portrait of the Year, AN ANGEL AT MY TABLE, it did not disappoint, absolutley exquisite. The gallery was breathtaking with the most incredible art. The building itself is a treat. A must see.

Sorry. Y haven't been there yet. However if the quality is the same as usual (Picasso portraits as an example) your £ will be well spend. Normally the price can be between 8 up to 12 £.Please enjoy.
