The librarians and docents are knowledgeable and very helpful. If you have time, you could make a stop early in your trip to discuss options and while there reserve books for a later visit.

No, I don't think so. This is a serious research library. I don't know libraries with children's programs.

I would have thought that 30 minutes wouldn't be enough - probably 45 minutes to 1 hour depending how quickly you read and assimilate information.
