An exact replica of the ship that circumnavigated the globe. It looks so small compared to ships nowadays. It didn't look much bigger than a small yacht. Unfortunately we could not board as works were being carried out and advanced bookings are recommended. Impressive though.

This replica of Sir Francis Drake's ship gives a great idea of what it was like to sail the oceans in the 16th Century. It is surprisingly small for all that was accomplished by Drake and his men. The wonderful thing about this attraction is...More

The Golden Hinde is an infamous English galleon captained by Sir Francis Drake, that is according to my son. I didn’t know anything about this galleon before. He said he knew about it, as it was featured in one of the games he plays with...More

This was an unexpected find. Was walking across London Bridge when we spotted the ship. It was wonderful to see the reproduction of Sir Francis Drakes ship, worth the entrance fee. Took you back in time.

No matter how you cut it, seeing an accurate reproduction of Sir Francis Drake's 1577 English Galleon is mighty impressive. Pieces from the original ship were actually used in the reconstruction. Imagine, being in a port (like La Coruna, Spain) when this huge, menacing, black...More

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard,
the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond

We have visitors of all ages including 2 year olds. You will need to carry them up and down steep ladders and make sure children are supervised at all times. Under 2s are also free to visit and there is some buggy parking.
