Amazing location next to the Thames. Lovely looking pub too with a lot of character. Not had a more frosty welcome than I did at this pub. Woman serving me couldn't have been less friendly if she tried. One set of toilets in the pub were closed but with no signs. Just a locked door so quite confusing. Eventually found... More

Brilliant! We had a glass of wine and took it out to sit on the wall across, in the sun, watching everyone go by. There is a roof terrace but it was full. Great area.

Had lunch and drinks here on a busy Sunday afternoon. Spent time on the roof terrace overlooking the Thames great way to spent an afternoon people watching. Food is average but came quite quickly given how busy it was. Staff personable and good range of drinks. Huge place with loads of little spaces inside and an outdoor raised seating area.

We stumbled across this place after visiting borough market, We managed to get a table right at the top overlooking the Thames, it was a hot sunny day and quite busy but we were served and everyone was polite. Great little pub!!!

Just a old style pub with a good selection of beers and largers the staff are friendly and welcoming food is also available and the chicken pie is good and if the weather is nice you can can sit outside next to the river if you are ever in this part of London i do recommend that you visit it

Walking along the Thames on a sunny day and we came across this lively pub with plenty of outside seating. Sat with a view of Tower Bridge. How much more touristy do you want to get? Great location.

We decided to eat here based on a recommendation, and initially had a hard time finding it just based on the address (34 Park Street). If you're walking along the river it's easy to find, but if you're trying to get to it along Park Street you'll have to be patient and have faith...you will get there eventually, I promise.... More

Staying in Southwark

Neighbourhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighbourhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
