Not such an interesting place to be honest, and even a little bit waste of time. You can do other things at this time. For those who like the real sea world and aquarium I think the big name will come with a big disapointment. I was at the Aquarium in Barcelona and it's 100 times better from this place!

I will preface my review by stating that one should support their local aquarim which do a tremendous job in preservation of sea critters. Now with respect to the Sea Life London, I was a bit disappointed, London being a world class city, I was expecting more. That said we have been spoiled by visiting the Toronto Aquarium, which is... I went to London aquarium a week ago and was rather disappointed. It was very busy and the lack of aquatic creatures made it difficult to fully enjoy it. One positive thing was the penguins as you could get very close to them and get good pictures.

My brother and I know a lot about fish so we really wanted to go there. We loved it, my 4 year old sister loved it, my mom loved it and even my dad who wasn't sure if he wanted to do it. It was the biggest aquarium I've ever been to and there was adventure everywhere you turned! The... More

Ok me and my partner visited in half term and yes it took around 20 minutes to get in. We had booked an online slot, but hadn't appreciated that half term was earlier this year. The staff did their best to get us in, although the London Dungeon queue snaked through the middle of the aquarium queue and caused congestion.... More

Nothing that would have you recommending it, but good for killing a bit of time. Its handy as you can take the tour as part of an add on package with other sights so its discounted.

It's an amazing place for a day out with children, we enjoyed every moment there, beautiful animals to discover. Penguins were our absolute favourite.

If you're planning to go on a busy day: book a slot. Half-term was absolutely bonkers - the queues went on for hours. The staff doing their best to get people into the right queues, but it didnt help much. Please also don't picnic on the steps up to the entrance (pretty dumb when there is the rather noce Jubilee... We waited to get in the sea life center which seemed to take ages must have been at least 30 minute wait in the queue. Once in we were very let down we have been to other ones around the country and this one didn't compare. I understand that there was work going on but never the less it wasn't... More

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
