The current Princess Diana exhibit with her iconic dresses makes Kensington a must visit right now (summer 2018). Even for a non-fashionista like myself, I remember many of those outfits from pictures in the 80s and 90s and it was cool to see them all...More

Loved the palace. Wasn't crowded and was a tour with a modern twist. I loved the dancing shadows behind the costume mannequin. The two additional exhibitions, Victoria and the awesome Diana Fashion Story were fabulous. Getting so close to those iconic outfits, was a real...More

I visited on a very warm weekday (88 F outside) around 3 pm with two teenage kids using the London Pass without additional payment. The park leading up to the palace is huge, and takes 15 to 20 minutes just to walk to from the...More

Spent a pleasant few hours at Kensington palace and gardens. The display of the late Princess Diana's most spectacular dresses was really interesting as each item included the story of where and when they were worn. None of the young royals were at home but...More

Not only do cureent English princes, princesses and their families live at this palace, but it is also the place where many kings and queens of the past were born, lived or died. It was an experience to stand in the room where Queen Victoria...More

Loved going into this historic building- the princess Diana dresses were really nice--loved the Queen Victoria area- well done.. The chambers were fantastic- the displays and aren't really allowed one to see the palace in it's old glory

Having just come back from France where I visited many fantastic castles at around £11 each I thought this palace and exhibits was very average and made less so because it cost £23 to visit. The overall visit was over in 50 minutes, the rooms...More

Alot of noticeably empty rooms with a few paintings/artefacts around the walls, a very small sunken garden you can only walk around the outside of and a few uninspiring outfits! the diamond tiaras were the highlight!

Hard to say exactly, but I would say “early” - at least 1 to 1-1/2 hrs before opening. This is a very popular exhibit. Hope this info helps!

The palace is open 10 to 5 or 6 daily. Due to the Diana fashion exhibit some dates and times maybe sold out. However the Diana exhibit closes near the end of April.
