A group of 15 of us thoroughly enjoyed a perfume making class as part of a hen do. The whole workshop was excellent! Organising the event was completed via e-mail - very straightforward! The workshop itself was led brilliantly by Nicola. She was really friendly, made sure everyone had help and put up with our silly behaviour - making the... More

We were a party of 11 and everyone had a fantastic time. Nicola was so accommodating and had a really personable touch. We had so many giggles throughout and learnt a lot about the different types of oils that make up a perfume. We all came away with a perfume we loved. Nicola made the organising very easy even though... More

What a wonderful perfume making hen party we had! Nicola was an incredible tutor and has so much knowledge of smells. It was a small group of us, but it was a great advantage as Nicola was giving us all so much attention, it felt very intimate and personal and we loved every minute of it. We all have learned... We came to homemade London a few weeks a go for my hen do and I loved every moment of it! We did the perfume making class and it was so relaxed and our instructor (I'm sorry I can't remember her name) was brilliant! She was very friendly and took the time to go around and help us all make... More

I took my small work team of 7 to a perfume and candle making class yesterday. The main, and more difficult/involved part of the class is for the perfume making. This was really interesting and fun and everyone learned a lot about the different oils and where they come from. Nicola was so lovely, helping us all create a scent... More

Last Saturday a large group of us came to Homemade London for a perfume making class as a Hen Party and we had a wonderful time. Nicola was an absolute star, she was so helpful the whole way through the booking process and we were fortunate enough to have her lead our class and she did a fantastic job! Even... More

My son wanted an arts and crafts party so with another 10 kids all aged between 6-10 we headed to Homemade London. Nicola the manager (as well as another member of staff Amy) was most helpful, inventive and patient. Everything was perfectly organised, executed and for me totally stress free. The kids had a brilliant time and in the space... More

I went to Homemade London as part of a hen party in August last year. It was such a disappointment! The below is a copy of the email I sent afterwards (and to which I didn't ever get a reply, which I felt was even more disappointing): I was really disappointed with several aspects of the workshop. - the room... Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
