You will never forget the theatrical event that is Disney's THE LION KING. Brilliantly re-imagined by acclaimed director Julie Taymor, Disney's beloved film has been transformed into a spectacular stage production that explodes with glorious colours, stunning effects and enchanting music. At its heart is the powerful and moving story of Simba - the epic adventure of his journey from wide-eyed cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands. 'There is simply nothing else like it.' We were a group of 4 friends celebrating a birthday. The show: Great acting, the choreography and costumes were fantastic and the 2 kids were brilliant, the drinks were very expensive. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I've seen the show before but its the first time for my 3 friends and i'm sure they will want to see... More

Went to the matinee on Saturday 14 January. I've seen a lot of London shows but this has to be my new all time favourite! What a show! Fantastic costumes. True to the original film. Loved Rafiki - what a talented actress! We sat in the stalls, row d - excellent seats. Don't hesitate - book your tickets - you'll... More

Generally a good show, but found the seats very uncomfortable. The puppetry was very good and I'm glad I've seen the show. It's not a show that left me wanting more. Wouldn't rush back to see it again, some of the songs have quite a bit of Wailing in them.

My boyfriend and I weren't going to go to a show initially as the prices for certain seats seemed very high. However I am very glad we decided to go see the lion king at the last minute. We booked only a few hours before the performance and managed to get cheaper seats in the stalls. The show was amazing,... More

Superb really and I am not at all into Lion King itself but the play is very dynamic and creative that you get hooked into it since the very start! Very well done indeed!

Row p, stall seats, aisle seats, fantastic for seeing the start of the performance with the animals and singers coming through the audience, unfortunately row r, row s and row t had school children who although well behaved wanted continuously go to the toilet, so constantly there was movement behind our seats, the show was fabulous, cloakroom good,

Whilst appreciating that everyone else seemed very happy with last nights performance I have to say I was so disappointed. Having wanted to see this for years I was really excited, but the standard/quality of the lead singers left much to be desired. Not sure how many 'stand ins' there were but it just was not what I would have... More

Did the Ambassador Experience and booked a box (was actually more reasonable than you'd think). Was amazing. A cast member came into the box at the start of the second act as part of the show which made it extra special. It really is a wonderful show and the singing was sensational.
