As mentioned by pad_11, eastbound services from Embankment go to Westminster, turn around, serve London Eye before making the rest of the journey East without stopping at Embankment again.

I spoke to the hotel and they advised that the nearest stop is North Greenwich and then cross the river by cable car which is just a few mins. walk. The cable car is well worth doing and very exciting! Regards Colin H.

Took Thames Clipper from Double Tree to Canary Wharf then Greenwich Pier. Took Uber from there.
