Not quite sure what it's trying to be... a local or an upmarket gastro pub. It's very successful so they are obviously doing it right!!! Maybe a local discount or somthing otherwise I'm heading to the eagle.

We visited here for lunch whilst moving our son to a new home. The menu was varied but we all opted for the chicken and avocado chiabatta , the tarragon mayo was delicious. Added extra of skinny fries made a great lunch. As it was...More

Really nice staff, we could take our doggies with us inside the pub and everyone was so friendly. Amazing food as well.

Popped in for a drink on a lively Friday evening. Pleasant staff and busy inside, does what it says on the tin really. Fairy typical selection of beer, a good mix of wines on offer too. Would go back again.

Stopped off for a bite to eat and a pint, as I was passing through. It was Wednesday afternoon so, needless to say, the pub was empty. I was greeted by the landlady the moment I stepped through the door. I noticed a fine selection...More

My wife and I met up with friends last night and had an utterly delicious meal and a super evening! The food was outstanding - cannon of lamb is highly recommended (we all had it and thought it was delicious) and the puddings are superb...More
