    Packed
Pub and bar hopping around this part of the city we decided to drop into this bar, been here many times, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. We were here on bitterly cold December afternoon, bar was packed, we got a guinness each ,these were poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle, we kicked back and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular bar. While sipping our guinness we took in the great bar this is ,a cool looking serving bar dominates the main room, pubby decor and furnishings, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Ranelagh Street. My guinness was absolutely superb, thick, creamy and most importantly iced cold, it was just so good being in such a lovely bar enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twin brother, best beer companion in the world. We really enjoyed our guinness in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Lanigans Irish Bar is easy to locate along Ranelagh Street, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 10am till 2am. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

    Another great visit.
My twin brother and I were pub hopping around this part of the city when we decided to drop into Lanigans Irish Pub, a pub I always enjoy visiting. I love the look of this pub, interior is superb, a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, pubby decor and furnishings, big screens to enjoy the sport, a stage area for live music and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Ranelagh Street. We were here on a Thursday night, pub was busy with a great atmosphere, we ordered beers from Carling Brewery, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back and took in the great pub we were in. Every now and again I enjoy a pint of Carling, when it's served freezing and cold as in this pub its such a delicious beer indeed, it's hardly a surprise that this pub is so popular with beers served in this good a condition. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to Lanigans Irish Pub we had a great time. Lanigans Irish Pub is easy to locate along Ranelagh Street, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 10am till 2am. We visited as a couple and were told we couldn’t sit in a certain place. Little bit put off but where we did sit was okay. Barman was nice and recommended good bars and good shots. He was friendly. Made a good cocktail. Would probably return

At no establishment should it be acceptable to sing provisional IRA songs from the performers on stage! How disrespectful to people who had their lives lost due to their explosions, particularly in nearby Manchester Arndale. I would NOT visit this place again due to the bigotry displayed and as an Irish catholic find this place offensive!!

On a bitterly cold January night my twin brother Ste and I dropped into Lanigans Irish Bar ,bar was warm as was the welcome from the staff ,we ordered a Carling lager each ,we chilled out ,warmed up and watched the footy being shown on the big screens while sipping our lager's.
This is a fine looking bar ,a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, superb wall art ,great decor and furnishings and lots of seating options both inside and outside ,it's a great bar to chill out in.
I must say my lager was really good ,not my normal tipple, more a real ale and craft beer person myself but I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty this lager was.
We really enjoyed our lagers in here before we moved on and as on every other visit to Lanigans Irish Bar we had a great time.

Lanigan's is a superb Irish bar that offers a superb well priced range of drinks and was one of the many place's we went to on a bit of a pub crawl. This is a great Irish bar thats in a superb area of the city centre and is a joy to visit.
This brilliant Irish bar has an excellent Irish themed interior with many interesting items throughout the bars interior that relates to Ireland and its famous celebritie's from the silver screen to sport and excellent seating options throughout the whole interior.
An excellent bar to watch live sport as they have many TV screen's and they also have live music especially the weekend. We have went here many time's since it first opened and we have been regulars ever since.
We visited early in the evening and this bar was really busy and it took us a while for us to get served. On our visit we had a couple of pints of Carling brewery beers that were perfectly served and price wise £05.40 for two pints on there Harry Hour'really cheap especially for this area.
A superb Irish bar in an excellent area and well worth visiting and easy to find from the Central train station its a short walk.(This is my forth review of Lanigan's Irish bar).
