Getting back to normality

My twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop into Lanigans Irish Pub along Ranelagh Street as we were pub hopping around this part of town and I must say it was like visiting a pub pre pandemic times but with a few changes .
I love the look of this Irish pub ,a big single roomed pub ,photos and prints of Irish literary and sporting icons adorning the walls, a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, pubby decor and furnishings and tv's and big screens to enjoy the sport, there's also a stage area for live music and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Ranelagh Street.
We were here on a Thursday night, we track and traced and we were allocated a table, a very pleasant member of the bar team took our order of a guinness each, guinness was poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle, we just kicked back and chilled out and enjoyed the live music 🎶 being performed by a very talented young lady .
My guinness was absolutely superb, a rich, thick, creamy and most importantly iced cold guinness bursting with taste, such a delicious brew ,really refreshing on a hot night, the vibe in this pub was great ,as good as its been since pubs have been allowed inside and outside service.
We really enjoyed our guinness in here and the great atmosphere so much so that we ended up staying for another guinness each before moving on and as on every other visit to Lanigans Irish Pub we had a great time.
Lanigans Irish Pub is easy to locate along Ranelagh Street, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Sunday, 10am till 2am.
A wonderful pub,if you're in the area most definitely well worth checking out.

Great For Live Sport.

Lanigans Irish bar on Renelagh street is a superb Irish bar that hosts live music and shows all major live sporting events.
A modern Irish bar with a sleek interior with great seating options. The walls are adorned with many pictures and paintings of Irish celebrities and is a must go for anyone who likes lively bars.
This is our first visit to Lanigans Irish bar this year due to the lockdown restriction's but on May the 17th they were finally lifted.
We came here early in the afternoon and this bar was already busy as they were showing live sport and once we gave our track and trace details we took a seat in the main bar area and ordered our beers.
When here we had a few pint's of Guinness which was well served and priced and served by a very friendly member of staff. This is a superb Irish bar in a fantastic area of the city centre and is worth visiting when on Renelagh street.

Before the 3rd national lockdown descended my twin brother Stephen and I decided to jump the train down from Kirkby to Liverpool City Centre and visit some of the great pubs our city is justifiably famous for and along Ranelagh Street is Lanigans Irish Pub, a pub I always enjoy visiting.
A proper Irish pub,a wonderful interior, the main room is dominated by a solid wood serving bar, posters of famous Irish sporting celebrities adorn the walls, tv's and big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Ranelagh Street.
My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Wednesday night, we gave our details of name and phone number to assist with the governments track and trace system and then sanitised our hands, we were allocated a table were we ordered a hot dog meal each and pints of guinness, guinness was poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle, we just kicked back, chilled out and took in the great pub we were in.
My guinness was exceptional, a thick, creamy and most importantly iced cold guinness bursting with taste, while sipping our pints of guinness our hot dog meals arrived and what a treat, tasty, filling and just what we needed,it went with our guinness so well.
Really enjoyed my hot dog meal and my first guinness and the great atmosphere, ended up staying for another couple of pints of guinness with my brother before we moved on and when the 3rd and final lockdown is lifted in April for the hospitality sector I eagerly look forward to visiting here again.
Lanigans Irish Pub is easy to locate along Ranelagh Street, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants.
A wonderful pub, if your in the area most definitely well worth checking out.
