John's Home

Great to see as part of our Cab Tour of the Beatles. Would highly recommend including this as well as all the other Beatles' homes as part of the Fab Four Cab Tour.

This is a must for any Beatles fan. It allows you to look into the minds of the fab four and see what they did as children and how this influenced their music. Unfortunately we went out of season so we could not go inside.

Do not miss seeing the house Lennon spent most of his childhood into early adulthood even after his son Julian was born and his wife Cynthia rented a room from John's aunt. His bedroom window looks out onto the street where his mother was killed by a drunken driver. See the black and white tiled entry porch where John and... More

Go and have a look but i wouldnt bother going in. Its interesting just to walk the roads around the place and stroll up to Quarry Bank School a 10 min walk up the hill and through the park. The place has not changed in 60 years and retains all the charm it would have had when the beatle left... More

Visited here with my Daughter last year as part of a Taxi Tour and it proved to be a really fantastic experience. Our driver gave us a very informative commentary on the life of John Lennon which we found extremely interesting and gave us a greater inght into all of Johns songs. Highly recommendable.

I drive past this house nearly every week and the amount of cars, buses and taxis outside blocking the road is terrible. Wish they would build a car park up the path. Im surprised there hasn't been an accident outside yet.

I didn't go inside because of the prohibitively expensive fee charged. How ever I have seen the out of this house also in1992 when the original owner lived there zand they have changed the garden a lot fom how it looked in1992.Now its looks like a small museum. When I originally saw this house it looked life a home. I realise when... More

Well restored classic English semidetached house were John lived in comfort compared to most in the city. Easy walk to Strawberryfield gate and the famous church hall and graveyard in Church Rd Woolton.
