Spent nearly an hour inside. Very interesting talk by National Trust guide. Really put perspective on John's early years. Can't believe I've been in John's bedroom!

Great being able to go through the gates into the houses. Great and personal stories, things I never knew about John and Paul. Entertaining guides. We are members of NT so just have to pay for the mini-bus.

Book in advance. Going inside was like traveling back in time. Interesting how Mimi made the best for John and what middle class life was in those days.

We were staying in Liverpool for a Beatles Weekend, and fortunately our Coach took us to Mendips, John Lennon's home. Now looked after by The National Trust. A lovely House in a Beautiful Area.

Worth a visit if only to see where all the info you already know about John and his Aunt Mimi took place. Included in the Magical Mystery Tour from Albert Dock.

This is where John grew up, where Mimi told him the guitar was alright as a hobby, Simply, it's part of our heritage, our culture, and it's a superb house to visit.

The fact that the original, actual furniture isn't still there did not lessen the impact of being inside the homes where John and Paul grew up and collaborated with one another. Just sitting in Paul's living room in the same... More
