Woolton has retained an old world charm that is surprising in such a large city as Liverpool. Small shops nestled in back streets and alleyways, a small cinema and St Peter's Church Hall, where John met Paul.

I enjoyed my visit to Wilton Village today, had lunch in Coast which I recommend, and had a walk around the village. It's small, quaint, steeped in history, worth a Wiki, and you'll enjoy it too if you go.
