Great district to explore

Liverpool as a city is divided up to several districts ,the most famous districts are the likes of the St George's Quarter, The Cavern Quarter, Ropewalks, The Georgian Quarter, The Knowledge Quarter to name but some ,one of the most fascinating is The Liverpool Buisness District, a district of Liverpool I always look forward to exploring.
This was once the financial and buisness area of the city ,clear evidence of this is when you walk down streets such as Water Street, Castle Street, Dale Street and James Street, you will spot so many former bank buildings ,a clear indication of the wealth that flowed into our city due to it being one of the most important dock and port area's in the world ,the most stunning area of this district is around Exchange Flags, the beautiful architecture especially the Liverpool Town Hall, Walker Building, Horton House Building and the square itself once the financial heart of trade in the city centre, nowadays its a great party area,so many pubs, bars and restaurants add to this the multitude of shopping outlets makes it a district of Liverpool I highly recommend you visit if you're in the area or planning to visit Liverpool.

Once the financial and buisness district of Liverpool that encompasses quite a few streets including Castle Street, Dale Street, Water Street, James Street and even as far down as Old Hall Street, the architecture around these streets gives clue's to the buissness aspect of this street in bygone days ,lots of former bank buildings, walk down to Exchange Flags which was once the heart of the financial and trade centre of Liverpool and you can see the wonderful architecture, nowadays its a thriving nightlife area pack with pubs, bars and restaurants, I love visiting this area on any trip into town I take, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.
