Absolutely stunning library. It has been beautifully modernised and is great for young children. Very family friendly.

It is the largest library I have been in, lots of floors. As you walk in, look up, it is very impressive.

This building is absolutely no-joke gorgeous. The sheer number of books all around you will fill you with joy. Even more exciting: there is a beautiful rooftop patio which was THE highlight of my brief stay in Liverpool. You can see so far! If you are a book worm, English Major, reader, or even if you hate books - you... More

I have been to the library several times since August 2016 and each time I have experience something new and exciting. It is a lovely place for children with a specially developed children's library with its own stage. I went to one of the half term events with my children to see a magician and they loved it! The Picton... More

Came to the library as we were walking past. Great little Costa cafe just inside the entrance. Childrens area full of books but enough room for them to play a bit. Nice we could access the facilities even though we weren't members and didn't live in the area.

Here's a place that has managed to embrace the future and the past and make that fusion something worth celebrating. J.K Rowling's latest missive was filmed in this building, and you can see why.

Absolutely love this library, the old cavernous chamber is like something out of Harry Potter and I feel like it is an underappreciated and under-used facility in Liverpool.
