Good resources including books, computers to use if necessary, displays, events and a cafe on the ground floor. However difficult travelling by bus to get to and home that is it requires a lot of walking!

What a shame all cities don’t take a leaf out of Liverpool’s Library - it is quite stunning....a true ‘working library’. Modern meets old at its very best!

I accidentally found this nice library during my stay in Liverpool. Accessibility is great and you can enjoy the architecture of the building even if you are not living in Liverpool.

This is a must see building. Just a short walk from Lime Street station. As well as being a stunning building it is also a fully functioning library

Very interesting building with of course many many books but also free access to internet and many magazines. The main hall is spectacular. It contain rare archives from the 13th century to the present day which tell Liverpool’s story
