Now that some more of the coronavirus lockdown restrictions have been lifted its great once again to visit some of the great pubs our city is justifiably famous for, a walk down Great Charlotte Street has been a bit depressing the last 14 months or so but with the magnificent success of the vaccines and the tireless work of the health service the beginning of the end of this pandemic is in sight, my latest visit to Great Charlotte Street on the 19/ 5/ 21 was super, all the pubs open ,a vibrant atmosphere, I visited The Richard John Blackler Pub, Nelly Foley's Irish Pub and The Blob ,had a great time, pubs were busy but covid safe, social distancing in place plus track and trace, all in all had a wonderful afternoon, its a street I highly recommend you visit if you're in the area or planning to visit Liverpool.

Although at the moment Great Charlotte Street is quiet due to the 3rd national lockdown but before the lockdown descended my twin brother Stephen and I decided to visit some pubs that were still being allowed to trade ,one of the 1st we visited was The Richard John Blackler Pub, a great Wetherspoon pub were we enjoyed a delicious meal and bottles of beer ,we also visited Nelly Foley's Pub and had a " substantial meal " and one of the best pints of guinness to be enjoyed in this part of town, hopefully with the rollout of the vaccines the R rate will come down and we will start to return to some sort of normality, we are most definitely starting to see the beginning of the end of this pandemic and the other great pubs on this street will also reopen and this street will start to bounce again.
Most definitely well worth visiting when this latest, hopefully last lockdown is over.

Most people who visit our wonderful city are impressed with the great nightlife scene, pubs, bars and restaurants to satisfy everyone's taste ,one of my favourite streets to head to is Great Charlotte Street, a busy and vibrant street.
Along this street are some great pubs,The Richard John Blackler Pub, The Blob Shop Pub, Tess Riley's Bar, Nelly Foley's Pub ,Smokie Mo's ,fun pubs and bar's that always seem to be busy, at the moment Liverpool is on tier three coronavirus pandemic restrictions so pubs that don't provide food are not allowed to open as yet but when these restrictions are lifted and we beat this virus which we will ultimately defeat its a street I highly recommend you visit.
Well worth checking out if you're in the area or planning to visit Liverpool.

Without a shadow of a doubt one of Liverpool's busiest party streets is Great Charlotte Street, its only a small street but some of the pubs along here are perpetually full ,The Richard John Blackler Pub was the first Wetherspoon pub in Liverpool, its huge and extremely popular, Tess Rileys Pub ,The Blob Pub ,Smokie Mo's,Nelly Foleys Irish Pub are fun pubs to visit and nearly always packed ,there's a multitude of fast food outlets ,its just one really busy street and most definitely well worth checking out if your planning a trip to Liverpool.
