If you are a visitor to Liverpool and love The Beatles book a tour of the Casbah Coffee Club which was owned by Pete Best's mum. It isn't a cheap tour but is worth every penny. We were shown around by one of the family and he told us about the history and quite a bit more. You can feel... More

If you're a Beatle nut this place is a must visit. Great tour by Roag Best (Pete's brother) when we visited. One of the few original pieces of early Beatle history out there.

THIS IS THE PLACE!!!! If you had one attraction to see and do in Liverpool this is by far the one you need to do. It is the birthplace of the Beatles and their music. I got shivers walking through it and Roag Best brought the place to life as he shared history of where it all began. I could... More

We were blown away with this spot and its story and Rogue tells a fascinating story. The... More

Needs a bit of money spent on it to refurbish it without losing the authenticity of the place. Needs to be presented on a more professional basis and could do with some grant money from the Council or whatever to assist with this.

We visited the Casbah as part of the Fab Four Taxis "McCartney" tour, and this was the last stop of what had been an enjoyable if long tour. Whilst waiting outside the rather ordinary looking building our guide told us out of the three people who conducted the tour of the Casbah, the best guide was definitely Pete Best's half... More

This is early Beatles nirvana! Meeting Rory Best was awesome! A little piece of forgotten Beatles history that needs to be persevered.
