A lovely day out even if it is a cold day (obviously better if it is a warm day). The ferry takes you from Liverpool across the water to New Brighton stopping en route and you can get off if desired. My advice is to buy an all zone ticket from any Merseytravel office (there is one in Queens square... More

Beautiful but chilly day so away to see Liverpool from a different angle. Great trip and enjoyed the views. Sound quality on commentary could be clearer but well worth a visit.

We were fortunate to take the trip on a sunny day, I don't think I would do it if it was raining, partly because you can't see clearly out of the Windows. IT was freezing cold and very windy. before 10.00 and after 17.00 this is the commuter ferry, although I don't know how it differs. We got off to... More

Took the 3 leg ferry trip during a recent short trip to Liverpool as the commuter ferry only runs in rush hour. Weather was cold but bright with blue skies over the Liverpool skyline. As a Liverpudlian the Mersey ferries feel like part of my history although I haven't lived in Liverpool since the 1970s. In my opinion the best... More

Had a great time on the Snowdrop ferry across the Mersey River. Well worth the £10! Taking in Seacombe and Woodside. Picked a great clear day so photographs of Liverpool skyline were great. Cold day but not too uncomfortable to sit on deck. Great commentary whilst on board. Was proud to be from Liverpool seeing lots of tourists enjoying themselves... More

31st December. we rang to book and were told the ferries were running and they would ring us back to confirm the submarine experience is open. No one rang us back but we decided we would do the ferry anyway. We arrived to be told this was incorrect and no ferries were running due to staffing issues. Very disappointed.

A 50 minute circular trip on the Mersey. It was long enough in the depths of winter, but would need to be longer in the summer.

All the timetables and web site indicated that today, Thursday 29th Dec was a normal day. Signs on the doors also indicated this. Disappointingly the ferry was operating a reduced service, starting late and finishing early. Pretty crap really considering the packed museum and Albert Dock.

Thanks for your review. We are sorry that you were disappointed with your trip on the Mersey Ferry. Our website stated that commuter services would not be running between the 27th and 30th December. This meant that ferry services did not start until the first River Explorer Cruise at 11am, and finished at the usual time of 3pm. The River... More

There are few very trips quite so iconic as the Mersey. It's reliable and well serviced. The views of Liverpool are well detailed by the on board narration. What's not to like

Amazing attraction that you can find on Liverpool. Each hour the ferry sails away to cross from Liverpool to Wallasey, and viceversa. This attraction totally worth it
