Be prepared for this hill, it is very steep, and take your time going either way, up or down. Highly recommended.

Lovely quaint shops that are different from what you would find on the normal high street. This is a steep hill but you can stop and look inside the shops or have something to eat.

All the small cafes, shops and the scenery really do make this such a beautiful day out. Lincoln really is so breath taking.

Enjoy a slow walk down and browse the excellent shops, bars and restaurants or, if you are feeling energetic, start at the bottom and work your way up! A great Lincoln experience with shops at the bottom and the Cathedral and castle at the top.

We visited Lincoln for our Anniversary and especially loved the variation and amount of independent shops. Very clean and tidy. Good exercise for the legs too :-)

A great place to visit, lots of unusual shop to find the unusual present, from Tea's, wine's, gins and whisky. Wished we had longer to look but time was not on our side.
